My Family
I
am have been married for 27 years to my wonderful husband Ben. Ben
grew up outside of Washington DC and I grew up in Memphis, Tennessee.
Ben went to Virginia Tech and I went to Vanderbilt University. We met
while teaching overseas at The American Community School in Athens
Greece. After getting married and completing graduate school, we came
to Roanoke. We left after a few years but returned in 1990 and have
been here since. We have 2 amazing sons, Andrew and Jordan. They are
twins and graduated from Patrick Henry High School in 2012. Jordan is
currently studying Economics and is a University Scholar and George
Mason University. Andrew is in the honors program at Virginia tech
studying Bio-Chemistry.
